One Hospitalized In Crash That Causes Route 6N Closure

One person was hospitalized Sunday in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of Route 6N and Rose Drive/Stillwater Road in Mahopac.

Mahopac Falls Fire, EMS and Fire Police quickly responded with Chief Brian Sacher taking control of the scene as Incident Command, with Capt. Dan Meury handling Operations.

Dealing with heavy Sunday midday traffic, Fire police closed the southbound 6N traffic and detoured vehicles across Stillwater Rd. 

EMT's triaged the victims, with one being transported to Putnam Hospital with minor injuries and one refusing medical attention.
